    "content": "Okay. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. In the Statement, the Committee should- (a) State strategies that the national Government will put in place to scale up the response to drought beyond December, 2022, in light of the anticipated below-average performance of short rainfall so as to save the lives of people and livestock in Kajiado and other affected counties. (b) Provide evidence of plans by the national Government and County Government of Kajiado to release the available funding to enable most vulnerable households to meet minimum household needs and to create social accountability mechanisms for planning, monitoring and implementation of the targeted actions."
