    "content": "Finally, as we push for the reduction of the cost of power, as citizens, we have to be prudent in how we use it. When you walk into any facility, you can see the wastage. Regulations should be put in place requiring facilities to install motion sensors that can automatically switch power on when somebody enters a room and put it off when there is no activity. A culture of switching off bulbs and equipment when not in use should be adopted in this country as a way of saving energy. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, as Members of the Committee on Energy, we shall engage stakeholders in the energy sector on how to bring the cost down. We will oversight the Executive and push for the enacting of laws and policies to reduce or eliminate taxation on renewable energy products and machines and spur industrialization in this country."
