"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me this opportunity. First, let me thank God for making me get re-elected to this Parliament. I thank my family, together with my constituents, for re-electing me to serve them a second time. I will be very brief in supporting this Motion. I had the opportunity to serve in the Departmental Committee on Education in the last Parliament. I remember very well that we passed a budget of about Ksh2 billion for the school feeding programme. I urge the Government to settle down very fast and disburse the funds to schools before they close. In Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs), all schools were considered. I think it is the best time for the Government to release the funds so that we can keep students in school. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
