Speaker, I beg to move the following Procedural Motion: THAT, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 97 (1), debate on the Special Motion under Order No.10 be limited to a maximum of not more than five hours, with each Member speaking for not more than 10 minutes, except the Leader of the Minority Party, who will be limited to not more than 20 minutes. Hon. Speaker, on 12th October 2022, this House passed a Procedural Motion in which debate was to be limited to not more than three hours. I am trying to increase it to not more than five hours because if you limit it to three hours, Members will not have adequate time. Secondly, in the same Motion, the Leader of the Minority Party was given 15 minutes. My amendment seeks to give him 20 minutes because we need to have adequate time to debate this matter. Hon.
