In the statement, the Committee should- (1) Table a detailed report of the amount of relief supplies provided by Government to the people of Marsabit in tonnage in the last five years. (2) Disclose the nature, type and the cost of relief food supplies that have been disbursed to the county in the last five years stating the particulars of the beneficiaries, indicating the benefits and the benefitting sub counties. (3) Audit the procedure of how the suppliers are arrived at, stating the tendering process, providing the details of who won and the cost of the award. (4) State measures if any to ensure that such relief supplies fully benefits the targeted communities in the future. I thank you."
