    "content": "be as prestigious as the rest. However, through the good stewardship of Sen. M. Kajwang’, I enjoyed serving in that Committee and I do not recall a time where I enjoyed serving in a parliamentary Committee as I did on that occasion. We had media attention to the work we were doing. We questioned county governments that were using clients accounting law firms to pilferage public funds. We drafted legislation and considered transfer of functions. We mediated disputes between county assemblies and the county executives. We did a lot of work. Therefore, I want to tell my colleagues that no Committee is superior to the other. It is not the Committee that makes a man, it is the man that makes a Committee. A Senator can serve in any committee. All they need is dedication, energy and the belief that they are doing the right thing in this House. With that, they will achieve the objective that has been set to them by the people of Kenya. I do not intend to be longer than that because I know the Senators want to speak on the Motion. Therefore, I will rest it at that. I beg to Move and invite my good friend, the Senator for Narok County, Sen. Olekina, to second the Motion."
