    "content": "The EALA plays a very critical role in furtherance of the EAC objectives such as liaising with the National Assemblies of the partner States on matters relating to the Community. It also debates and approves the Budget of the Community. It also considers the annual Reports on the activities of the Community, annual audit reports and any other report. It also discusses all matters regarding the Community and makes recommendations, as it may deem necessary, for the implementation of the Community treaty."
