"content": "Standing Order No. 267 mandates the Committee on Procedure and Rules to explore such issues and to amend the Standing Orders to allow the Cabinet Secretaries to come to this House. On this Floor, Senators have argued using Article 153(3) of the Constitution which requires the Cabinet Secretaries to appear before Committees of the House. In the spirit of accountability to the electorate, we should explore Article 153(4)(b) that requires the Cabinet to regularly furnish the House with full reports. The Article refers to Parliament. We can use that Article to support the President on this issue."
