    "content": "Lastly, is the question of Parliamentary oversight. Article 93(2) of the Constitution remains the guiding compass for oversight. Under Article 96, this House undertakes oversight in the same manner as the National Assembly and the county assemblies. The role of oversight cannot be overstated. When the President pointed the need to create an oversight fund, all of us were happy. It is because we believe that the Senate, as an “Upper” House, must be strengthened to undertake its oversight role."
