    "content": "I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, the thanks of the House be recorded for the exposition of public policy contained in the Address of the President delivered on Thursday, 29th September 2022. Hon. Speaker, I will also take this opportunity, in moving the Motion, to do my thank you and congratulations. First, I would like to congratulate His Excellency the President and his Deputy for their election, and also congratulate you, Hon. Speaker, for your election. I also use the opportunity to congratulate Members of the National Assembly here present. Having been in the campaigns, I know that it is no mean feat. Congratulations again. I also want to use this opportunity to thank the great people of Uasin Gishu County, the city of champions, the home of champions and the source of champions for electing me. I am greatly humbled by this opportunity. The fact that they allowed me time off the campaigns locally in Uasin Gishu so that I could undertake time in the national campaigns was a big sacrifice on their part, and showed a great honour that they gave me. I know that I did not even pick my own certificate from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), but the people of Uasin Gishu did it on my behalf and allowed The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
