    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I beg to move the following Motion:- THAT, aware that the practice of herbal medicine and use of herbal pharmaceutical products is widespread in Kenya today in spite of lack of a clear policy and legal framework; appreciating the need to establish a policy and legal framework to facilitate the practice of herbal medicine and recognition of herbal pharmaceutical products; this House urges the Government to formulate a policy and legislative framework for the practice of herbal medicine and use of herbal pharmaceutical products, including establishing the necessary institutional oversights and regulatory bodies, standards of practice and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith."
