    "content": "Hon. Speaker, I want to thank the Committee for having sat for very many hours deliberating on the requirements as stipulated in the Constitution and the relevant Acts. Mr. Ng’eno promised that the matter of the environment is a great concern for this country with the climate change and he has promised that he is going to take action so that we may see to it that the environment and the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) which has always been blamed for not working, is functional. This will ensure that environmental issues can be handled properly.
