"content": "on Thursday, 1st December, 2022, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 155(3)(b) of the Constitution, this House approves the appointment of the following persons as Principal Secretaries: (i) Mr. Joseph Mungai Mbugua – State Department for Roads. (ii) Mr. Mohammed Daghar – State Department for Transport. (iii) Mr. Shadrack Mwadime – State Department for Shipping and Maritime Affairs. Hon. Speaker, the three nominees appeared before the Departmental Committee on Transport and Infrastructure and they were found fit to hold the offices as Principal Secretaries in their respective departments. The Committee unanimously agreed that the three are able to handle the responsibilities that come with three key departments in Transport and Infrastructure Ministry. Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I beg to move and ask Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri to second."
