Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Blue Economy and Irrigation on the vetting of the nominees for appointment as Principal Secretaries, laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 1st December 2022 and pursuant to the provisions of Article 155(3) (b) of the Constitution, this House approves the appointment of the following persons as Principal Secretaries: 1. Ms. Betsy Muthoni Njagi, State Department for Blue Economy and Fisheries; 2. Mr. Gitonga Mugambi, State Department for Irrigation; and, 3. Dr. Paul Ronoh, State Department for Water and Sanitation.
