It is against this background that I seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Affairs, on the following: 1. Could the Chairperson explain why there has been a delay in issuance of identity cards to the new applicants from Marsabit County? 2. What measures is the Ministry putting in place to ensure that the new applicants obtain identity cards? I thank you."
