Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Trade, Industry and Cooperatives in its Report on Vetting of Nominees for Appointment as Principal Secretaries, laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 1st December 2022, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 155 (3) (b) of the Constitution, this House approves the appointment of the following persons as Principal Secretaries: 1. Mr. Alfred K’ombundo – State Department for Trade; 2. Mr. Abubakar Hassan – State Department for Investment Promotion; 3. Mr. Juma Mukhwana – State Department for Industry; 4. Mr. Patrick Kiburi Kilemi – State Department for Cooperatives; and, 5. Ms. Susan Mang’eni – State Department for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development. Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker."
