Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry and Mining in its Report on the Vetting of Nominees for Appointment as Principal Secretaries, laid on the Table of the House on Thursday, 1st December 2022, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 155(3) (b) of the Constitution, this House approves the appointment of the following persons as Principal Secretaries: 1. Mr. (Eng.) Festus Kipkoech Ng’eno – State Department for Environment; 2. Mr. Ephantus Kimotho Kimani – State Department for Forestry; and, 3. Mr. Elijah Gitumbu Mwangi – State Department for Mining.
