We have a Message from the Senate on the establishment of a Joint Parliamentary ad hoc Committee on a legislative proposal to amend the Constitution to entrench certain specialised funds. This is the proposal by Hon. Mule and the Member for Gichugu. Hon. Members, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order 41, I wish to convey the following Message from the Senate regarding the establishment of an ad hoc Committee on a legislative proposal to amend the Constitution to entrench certain specialised funds. The Message conveyed that on Thursday, 1st December 2022, the Senate considered and approved a Motion on the establishment of an ad hoc Committee on a legislative proposal to amend the Constitution to entrench certain specialised funds. The Senate further appointed the following Senators to the Joint Committee: 1. Senator Wakili Hillary Kiprotich Sigei, MP; 2. Senator Raphael Chimera Mwinzago, MP; 3. Senator Veronica Waheti Nduati, MP; 4. Senator Samson Kiprotich Cherargei, MP; 5. Senator William Cheptumo Kipkorir, CBS, MP; 6. Senator Danson Buya Mungatana, MGH, MP; 7.
