"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I withdraw that comment. I never meant to disparage Senators who are here because I have a lot of respect for them. However, the point I was making as I was winding up, is that this is a season of assistants going all the way up. Hon. David Wafula was an assistant to hon. Wetangula and is now a Senator. I was an assistant to the Speaker of Nyandarua County Assembly and I am here. Hon. (Eng.) Josses Lelmengit was the assistant of Sen. Cherarkey, now he is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Emgwen Constituency. Hon. Adams Kipsanai who used to be the assistant of the former Senate Majority Leader, Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, is now the MP for Keiyo North Constituency."
