"content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I begin by thanking the Chairperson of the select Committee, Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale. He deserves honorary recognition as a lawyer by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), for the splendid work he did while guiding the Committee. Congratulations, Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale and your nine Members for the good job. As a House, we fully support the contents of your report. Mr. Speaker, Sir, speaking to the MCAs of the great County of Meru, men have various talents. When women pick their husbands, they look at various talents. Ms. Mary, the beautiful wife of the Senator for Kitui County, Sen. Wambua, picked a journalist. He is a great man who can use the power of the pen to communicate to people. My wife, Ms. Jacqueline, opted for a Senior Counsel, a celebrated lawyer in this Republic. The Governor of Meru County chose a husband who has a talent with the guitar. He is celebrated by many women as a man who can campaign for this great Governor of Meru County."
