Lastly, we heard you being told that you should be afraid of some undisclosed consequences if you were to defy a court order. As a lawyer who did not waste time or sleep in class, I can assure you that the office is distinct from you. The office of the Speaker is an office with perpetuity. It does not say on this order that if the Senator of Meru, hon. Kathuri Murungi, disobeys this court order, he will go to jail. There is nothing like that. I can assure you that because we have a battery of lawyers here. If there is any consequence that will come by virtue of you standing up for the dignity of this House, free legal services will ensue from the Minority side."
