    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, going back specifically to North Eastern Province where the hon. Member wants us to classify roads, I referred earlier to the question of the recent reforms, we now have the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KERRA) which will be operating in the region. We are also going through these reforms to establish the Constituency Roads Committees to replace the District Roads Committees (DRC). I feel that is an area where hon. Members of Parliament who operate their own constituencies, can influence the kind of work they want carried out on these roads. I do not want to say much, but let us adopt the concept of Constituency Roads Committees. I hope this will be done next week and then we will sit in those Committees to influence the kind of roads we want rehabilitated in our own areas."
