    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for the opportunity to contribute to this Motion. I rise to support the proposed appointment of hon. Muthama as an external male nominee to the PSC. I have had the opportunity to work very closely with him at the party. He is the outgoing Chairperson and I was working as the Secretary General (SG) until yesterday. I must vouch to the level of integrity that he stood for during the nomination processes, his level of competence and very good networking skills. He is a people’s person. He traversed, the whole country in the 47 counties making sure that he united all Kenyans under one cause. I witnessed a leader who did not have a bias based on the areas, the places, ethnic division and the ethnic differences between people. One who did not regard those tendencies that other people would have. He brought people together and was able to reconcile members when they had differences. I can vouch that he is bringing in competence to the PSC. This morning as we went through the approval hearing of hon. Muthama we sought to know his understanding regarding whether the Joint Services Board, in Parliament was needed or was in conflict with any other institution. He had a level of clarity of mind which is inspired by his earlier experience in this Parliament both at the Senate and the National Assembly."
