    "content": "Mr. Speaker Sir, I beg to move- THAT, the Senate, adopts the Report of the Standing Committee on Finance and Budget on the 2023 Medium Term Debt Management Strategy laid on the Table of the Senate on Tuesday, 28th February, 2023. The 2023 Medium Term Debt Management Strategy (MTDMS) was submitted to the Senate by the National Treasury on 14th February, 2023 pursuant to Section 33 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012. Mr. Speaker Sir, the MTDMS was tabled in the Senate on 15th February, 2023. Thereafter, it was referred to the Standing Committee on Finance and Budget for consideration, facilitating public participation and consequent tabling of a report in the Senate. Pursuant to Section 33(2) of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), the MTDMS should include the following information: (a) the total stock of debt as at the date of the statement;"
