To add to what the Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee has said, we have about three months before the end of this financial year. We have already started discussing the Budget Policy Statement (BPS). We first of all need to clear the Supplementary Budget before we can focus on the BPS. Secondly, you are aware that the country is facing a lot of problems, especially the drought. Some of the resources that we have allocated in the Supplementary Budget will help our people in drought-stricken areas and will also deal with insecurity in the North Rift. Those are some of the reasons that we feel that the publication period needs to be reduced to one day. I beg to second. Thank you."
