    "content": "“The State shall take measures, including affirmative action programmes, to ensure that the youth are protected from harmful cultural practices and exploitation.” The culture being introduced to us by the Supreme Court is going to be harmful to our youth. It is going to make sure that the youth do not become mothers and fathers of tomorrow. If we recognise lesbians and gays, that will be against our culture and the Constitution. As the Constitution is the supreme law of this country, so is Parliament as the representative of the people of Kenya. And this Parliament is today saying that the judgment of the Supreme Court is obnoxious and against the dictates of African culture. It should be done away with. What surprises me is…"
