"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. Let me start by congratulating the Member who has brought this Motion. I am really excited about it because when I started the programme in 1997 after a visit to Brazil, many people thought it was far-fetched and not necessary. But here we are. We have realised that this is an extremely important programme. Before, old people were looked after by their children. With the movement of people to towns, the old people are left in their homes. Insurance companies do not even cover old people when it comes to healthcare.
