Allow me to join you in welcoming the students from Sawagongo High School, officials of Makueni County Assembly and the delegations or students from the USA. I believe their visit to Kenya will open their eyes to how we operate here democratically. This being the Senate, we set examples to the future leaders of this country. I hope when you go back to your country, you will know how we procedurally do our things in the Senate. To the young people of Sawagongo High School, I wish you well on your visit. As Baba, Raila Amollo Odinga, said out there, your dreams can be achieved. He asked you to raise your hand if you wanted to be a Members of Parliament (MPs) or the President of this country one day. Almost all of you raised your hands. I believe you have a long journey to make yourselves who you want to be. Your dreams are real."
