I am in the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and I have been in that Committee even at the National Assembly for quite a number of years. The issue of macadamia nuts is a very serious matter and generally nuts. Cashew nuts in particular is grown in the coastal areas and it was largely grown through cooperatives. I know there is a very big effort to bring back this matter. Private businessmen have come in. Unfortunately, brokers have really messed up the industry. The people have been put into cooperatives which are marketing these nuts. These nuts are valuable"
