"content": "In my thinking, this created a perception or attitude that probably West Pokot was left out deliberately so as people debate this Motion, it will look like West Pokot is the problem. This is not true. We all want peace and West Pokot, by virtue of its geographical location, has neighbours. Around Mt. Elgon we have Sebei, Karamojong, Turkana, Samburu, Marakwet and others. Most of them, if not all, are pastoralists. We know the behaviour and nature of pastoralists. These are people who move from one place to another looking for pasture and water.
