Concerning the matter of the Awendo land, to my mind, the Public Petitions Committee, as has been formed in the 13th Parliament, is up to task and very current on matters that are happening in the country. Whatever recommendation that will come out of the Public Petitions Committee, is not bound by other recommendations that will come out of any other office in the land. The biggest concern by the submissions that have been made was the questioning of the mandate of the Departmental Committee on Communication, Information and Innovation on the matter of Telkom.
