    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. From the outset, I support the Motion on General Debate on the Proposals to Parliament to consider amending the Constitution and Standing Orders. It is critical that we consider the three issues as raised and ensure that the Constitution actually speaks to them. The President is giving us a good foundation. Checking Government, ensuring that duties and responsibilities are segregated, and making Cabinet Secretaries to come to this House is very important and pertinent. I sit in the Committee on Procedures and House Rules and I want to thank the Members of that Committee because soon we will have Cabinet Secretaries joining us during Question time. Secondly, the gender issue needs to be considered as provided. I am one of those persons who support and consider that today is the World International Women’s Day.
