I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum the following Question: (a) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why for every purchase of pre-paid electricity tokens, nearly 62 per cent of the purchase amount is charged as taxes and other levies, leaving consumers with only an estimated 37.8 per cent for tokens?
