It is our submission that there is no provision in the Constitution of Kenya, legislation, Standing Orders nor any precedent in the tradition and practices of the Houses of Parliaments in the Commonwealth that would support the impugned position adopted by the Majority Party membership. I want to conclude now. We invite you to apply your mind and vast experience to this matter and deliver a considered ruling that will not only unlock the unnecessary stalemate, but also preserve the integrity and credibility of the institution of the National Assembly.
