"content": " Hon. Rindikiri, the House always benefits from your thoughtful contributions. I wanted to pick your mind on the new definition of “gender” coming from the Supreme Court. I know some Members have not looked at it but you always do – I know you have looked at it. According to the Supreme Court, Article 27 which we are debating affirmative action on, redefines gender. Gender now includes male, female and intersex, which has been recognised in Kenya; queer or those questioning their gender, and those others. In your view, would you rather we meet the affirmative action requirement in the context of all those new gender parameters?"
