"content": "However, I beg to reply. (a) The Judiciary in its pursuit to ensure justice for all determined and granted litigants pecuniary awards on a number of cases in the last ten years. The number of cases in which the High Court of Kenya has given litigants awards in the last ten years is 4,817. (b) The pecuniary awards against institutions are as follows: The Government, 87 awards, amount awarded, Kshs5,214,902,681; against State Corporations, 121 awards, awarded amount, Kshs1,774,342,836; private Companies, 995, amount awarded, Kshs18,878,263,973; individuals, 894 awards, amount awarded is Kshs6,394,304."
