"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the only time I trusted Senior Counsel, Sen. Omogeni, was when he was releasing me from Gigiri Police Station. However, on this one, I am a bit cagey. When you read the Communication on the Floor of the House, all of us, the Majority and Minority sides were present. You told us that the Senate Minority Leader had tabled a letter indicating that the status quo be maintained. Standing Order No.23 says that it should be in writing and be communicated. Mr. Speaker, Sir, they can request for a short recess to obtain the court order, so that you have the opportunity to look at the documentation and make a written ruling. This is a House of records and traditions. We cannot tell you to rule on issues of rumours, what is on social media or what has been said by a person who was in the Tribunal. Can they get a hard copy, so that we get to know? I do not have a problem if the Minority side want to change their leadership. Let us follow the law and the Constitution. Mr. Speaker, Sir, you have a right to protect the Constitution. You are not a conveyor belt. It does not mean that if anybody wants you to rule on something, you just become a conveyor belt. You have an obligation. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for the opportunity."
