    "content": "Hon. Senators, we know that the timeline provided in the Standing Orders is 60 days and they have lapsed. That said and done, it does not stop the committee to still continue with the matter even when 60 days have lapsed. Hon. Senators, the time for consideration of the Petition has lapsed but there is precedent in the Senate where timelines have been extended. The Chair is commended for his report, but there is nothing stopping the committee from proceeding with visits at the appropriate time and tabling its report. Let us go to the next Order."
