    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I know you are consulting the House leadership; the two wise men. I wanted you to listen to this because we are also human and I agree with the wisdom of both the Senate Majority and Minority leaders. The standard procedure would have been to give Sen. Sifuna a chance to withdraw and apologise. I am not playing devil’s advocate. This did not happen because we understand that we are human and the House was degenerating. Secondly, even if we were to agree with the Minority Side, there should be some level of remorse, so that we invite you to invoke under Standing Order No.1. Finally, looking at the Motion that Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale, the bull fighter, has come up with, it is too harsh at this point. We are one House and we want to work together as a House of union, so that we can move forward."
