    "content": "In this case, we have a serious constitutional over-reach by this rogue Commission. Its role in relation to benefits is to advise. How can you ask a Member of Parliament or the Parliamentary Service Commission to reimburse mileage and allowances? These facilities are supposed to entitle you to go to your constituents to work. These are facilitative. It is not a benefit. Nobody is doing you a favour by giving you resources and facilities to reach your constituents. It is a duty that you are performing. It is not an added advantage or a benefit to you. I want to thank this Committee. I want us to move with speed to ensure that this Commission that thinks is above everybody is put in its place. These people are very idle. Let us first reduce them to three and put them on a part-time basis. We are sending these regulations back to the owners. They are a waste of time of this Parliament. We need to bring a Motion and a Bill immediately to start the process of reviewing the functions and size of constitutional commissions. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker.
