    "content": "We cannot speak about the cost of electricity without seeing the challenges Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) encounters. One of them is Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) who are supposed to be generators of electricity. Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (Ketraco) was supposed to be the transmitter of that electricity. KPLC is supposed to be the distributor of that electricity.
