"content": "When we look at the current situation, it will be very difficult to tell if it is Ketraco or KPLC which needs to take responsibility for the losses that we encounter in transmission. It is important to also note that KPLC handles a very high budget burden. This is caused by high operational costs, low cost collection efficiency, significant increase of power purchase costs and investment in political pet projects like the Last Mile Connectivity which eventually became commercially inviable. This has contributed greatly to KPLC not being able to upgrade its infrastructure that causes losses which are later on transferred to the consumer."
