    "content": "The CRA has made a request of Ksh407 billion for the counties. I have heard the Chairman of the Committee, who was very eloquent. He has just said that we are giving counties 23 per cent of the Budget based on the last audited accounts, which is far back in the 2019/2020 Financial Year. I want to point out that, maybe, what they are requesting is not farfetched. That is because the Constitution only gives a minimum limit but not a maximum limit. As long as it is not below 15 per cent, you can even go up to 50 per cent. That is a point for consideration in another year. Let them be accountable right now. Let them show us what they have done with the money that they have been getting all along."
