"content": " Hon. Temporary Speaker, let me start by thanking you for giving me this opportunity to add my voice on this very important and weighty issue. A very weighty and important issue has been brought before this House. I urge my colleagues to debate this weighty matter in a very sober manner. Kenyans are watching us. The issues that we are discussing here mostly affect people outside this House. For any Member to rise and say that we are hungry, is absurd; it is to abuse the word ‘hungry’. Kenyans out there are hungry. I do not see any other way out of this matter that we are discussing other than dialogue. I want to go on record on this matter that this country belongs to all of us and this country has been divided into two. Whether we acknowledge, whether we try to refute it, the country is divided into two. The Right Honourable. Raila Amolo Odinga commands half of the population of this country."
