"content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rose on a point of order to draw your attention to the fact of the requirements of the Standing Order No.105 on Responsibility for a Statement of Facts. That is the starting what upon which Sen. Oketch Gicheru was challenged. So far, Sen. Oketch Gicheru has spent close to 10 minutes explaining absolutely nothing. If you read the provisions of Standing Order No.105, there is no requirement upon the Senator to give an explanation of anything. All Sen. Oketch Gicheru needs to do - and you need to read Standing Order No.105(2) - is to state: “Mr. Speaker, I hereby Table the evidence.” Lack of which, he is supposed to withdraw.
