"content": "not aware of anything. So, civic education is key in empowering and enabling them to be aware about their rights. Sen. Cheptumo gave notice of Motions about the rights of the people in cattle rustling areas. He alluded to the fact that people who live in such areas are not aware about their rights. Therefore, civic education will enable them to be aware of their rights. It is also a way of passing knowledge to them so that they know what is theirs even within a county. Civic education should be carried out in counties. County governments should train and educate people on what is in their county and what powers they have with regard to public participation and awareness. Civic education makes people to be united because they have something to stand together for. I support the Statement."
