    "content": " Hon. Senators, the half an hour meant for comments is long spent. Hon. Senators, pursuant to Standing Order No. 238 (1), the Petition by Mr. Charles W. Waigwa is hereby committed to the Standing Committee on Lands, Environment and Natural Resources for its consideration. In terms of Standing Order No.238 (2), the Committee is required in not more than 60 calendar days from the time of reading the Prayer to respond to the petitioners by way of a report addressed to the petitioner and laid on the Table of the Senate. Further, pursuant to Standing Order No.238 (1), the Petition by the hon. Sen. Cherarkey on behalf of the family of the late Jean Marie Seroney, be committed to the relevant Standing Committee for its consideration. In this case, I direct that the Petition be committed to the Standing Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights. In terms of Standing Order No.238(2), the Committee is also required in not more than 60 calendar days from the time of reading the Prayer to respond to the petitioners by way of a report addressed to the petitioner and laid on the Table of the Senate."
