"content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I also take this opportunity to send my condolences to the family of Hon. Kulow. It is up to us to pray for the deceased’s children and wives. We also pray that God gives him eternal peace. More importantly, we remember how humble he was. We would sit with him at the lounge and laugh with him as he gave us stories. I pray that all of us learn and pray to God. We should remember that we are human. Today it is him, and tomorrow it might be me. How we live before we meet our Maker is very critical. Therefore, even as we work for our country, let us always remember that fact. We must deal with the issue of bodaboda. On behalf of Dagoretti North Constituency, it is time for the police to crack down on bodaboda. They had said that they will ensure bodabodas have new numberplates that will assist in terms of jurisdiction. They will indicate where riders work and where their stage is. They will thus be identified very fast. That is something that needs to happen because many people have been knocked down by bodaboda and they have passed on. Their families have ended up wondering where to find the bodaboda riders who knocked down their relatives. We have to go back to the rules. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) must ensure that they enforce the rules. We should not wait until one of us passes on. We have to do it for all Kenyans and ensure that we straighten the issue of bodabodas. With those few remarks, pole sana to the family."
