    "content": "with our Vision 2030, we have identified value addition as one of the process or programmes we want to undertake in order to industrialize this country. We have other products like pyrethrum, coffee, coconut and so forth. But with respect to North Eastern Province or northern Kenya, leather is one of those we are targeting. As I said, we have started in those four areas; Wajir, Garissa, Moyale and Marshabit. As soon as we are able to identify an investor; whether it is a community-based organization or an individual or a company, we will be willing to work with it. In case of a mini tannery, we actually give a prototype which can be expanded. The investment involved here is small. So the investor will see that this can be done. If they are serious, they can then expand it and make it a medium-sized industry."
