    "content": " Hon Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Blue Economy, Water and Irrigation in its Report for the vetting of nominee for the appointment as Chairperson for the Fish Marketing Authority, laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 12th April 2023 and pursuant to the provision of Section 201(1a) and 2 of the Fisheries Management and Development Act, 2016 and Section 8(1) the Public Appointment, (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011, this House approves the appointment of the Hon. Martin Otieno Ogindo as the Chairperson of Kenya Fish and Marketing Authority. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
